The Honorable Larry E. Craig

BOISE, IDAHO

As a member of the NRA Board of Directors since 1983, Larry Craig represented Idaho’s First Congressional District for five terms in the U.S. House, then served for three terms in the U.S. Senate. For 28 years he was directly involved in every piece of pro-gun legislation in Congress. Craig was recognized as an authority on gun laws, a leader in the fight to protect American’s Second Amendment Rights. He was the primary sponsor of the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. Senator Craig is also a member of the NRA’s Bylaws and Resolution Committee, Vice Chairman of the Legislative Policy Committee, a member of the International Affairs Sub Committee, Chairman of the Committee on Hearings, and a member of the Meeting Site Selection Committee. Larry and his wife Suzanne live in Boise, Idaho.
