Tom Arvas

Tom Arvas is an uncompromising defender of the Second Amendment. He lobbied for the successful passing of concealed carry legislation in New Mexico. Strong supporter of hunting and shooting activities. He served as a member of the New Mexico Game and Fish Commission for 21 years where he was an advocate for wildlife management and opposed animal rights extremists. Served as Chairman, Shotgun Committee; member, Competition Rules & Programs Committee; serves on the Executive Committee of both the NRA Board of Directors and NRA Whittington Center.
Past President of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. He is currently involved in developing a youth shooting program. He’s an active member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, and New Mexico Trapshooting Association, and has been endorsed by the New Mexico Shooting Sports Association and the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association.
