Chris Rakyta

HILLSBORO, OHIO

Having recently retired from a career as a mechanical engineer and businesswoman, Chris has extensive technical, business and finance experience that will be valuable to NRA as it rebuilds for the future. She has served on a large Board of Directors for her trade association and has held leadership positions in her company relating to restructuring, reorganizing and oversight of project teams. Chris can contribute a wealth of career experience to help NRA solve its business and financial challenges. Being recently retired, Chris has the time, energy and desire to commit to helping to rebuild the NRA, an organization she believes should be the leader in the defense of the Second Amendment, shooting programs and the competitive shooting sports.

Chris serves on the NRA Smallbore Committee and has already jumped in to assist the National Match planning group. Chris has a history of Collegiate shooting and has participated in Smallbore shooting for the past eight years. Chris Rakyta will be a valuable addition to NRA’s Program Committees where NRA lacks sufficient depth of knowledgeable Board members to fill important NRA program positions in education, training, youth programs, women’s programs and competitive shooting.
