MS. MEGAN HILBISH

EMPORIA, KANSAS

Nominated by Nominating Committee. Competitive shooter and hunter since age seven. Certified firearms instructor for NRA Basic Pistol and Chief Range Safety Officer. NRA Distinguished Expert in smallbore and High Power rifle. Represented U.S.A. at 2023 ISSF World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan where she was the first American female ever to compete in 300m Standard Rifle. Also, represented U.S.A. in August 2025 for the NRA smallbore rifle Roberts and Randle Teams in Bisley, Great Britain. Experienced as a lobbyist. Advocated for constitutional carry, defended conceal carry rights, and Eddie Eagle legislation, which she has also taught to elementary youth. Loves to share her passion and knowledge of firearms and the outdoors as a volunteer Kansas Hunter Education, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman, and 4-H Shooting Sports instructor. Actively participates in and teaches shooting sports, firearms safety, hunting and self-defense skills. Strives to be a positive role model for future generations of shooters.
