Colonel Richard Kussman

Col. Kussman is a lifelong hunter, competitive shooter, Second Amendment activist and an ammunition experimenter and developer. His extensive experience operating organizations will be extremely valuable as NRA recovers and rebuilds. His experience includes: Commander of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Service as a US Army Colonel, Two-term President, Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association, Chairman of the Board for 8 years, Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association, Vice-President for Legislative Affairs, Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association.
His experience as a competitive shooter will be invaluable to NRA as it re-establishes its competitive shooting programs. He worked with NRA-ILA as Vice-President for Legislative Affairs, Maryland State Rifle & Pistol Association. Has long been an outspoken Second Amendment advocate and a strong supporter of NRA-ILA’s efforts to win National Concealed Carry Reciprocity.
