Joel Friedman

Joel Friedman is a tireless defender of the Second Amendment. Nominated by NRA Nominating Committee. Benefactor NRA member. Strong Supporter of NRA-ILA. Organized NRA-lLA’s intensive media training seminars, teaching pro-gun activists how to promote Second Amendment issues to the news media. Media spokesman/debater, vigorously defended the Second Amendment, through numerous media appearances. Spearheaded efforts to defeat ammunition bans and ammunition registration schemes, including a repeal of a mandatory ammunition registration law. During an outburst of riots, organized firearms training classes for citizens, so they could protect their homes, families and businesses. Successfully promoted the restoration of shooting ranges in response to local governments attempts to close shooting ranges. Serves on NRA Finance Committee, participated in oversight of NRA’s reform of business practices that was noted by the New York Judge in his decision to dismiss the New York Attorney General’s attempts to dissolve the NRA and place a monitor over NRA.

Extensive TV and radio appearances. Appeared regularly as an “official NRA media spokesperson” on the Los Angeles PBS debate/interview program, “Life and Times” where he vigorously defended the Second Amendment and NRA’s official positions.
